But without the wall segmentation, some physical backup processes will be in vain. There is a need for continuous archiving to make the WAL segments part of every backup attempt.

Logical Backups

Logical backups or SQL will represent the consistent state of the database dumps. With PostgreSQL documentation, it will cater to the rundown of the entire process. The SQL dumping tools will assess the tables to analyze the schema in place while analyzing the rows in place it doesn’t have to be a complex process.
