  1. Insert your SD card:

  2. Switch on your Android device:

  3. Go to Android setting:

    Find the wrench or gear icon in your homepage or you can also find the same in the app drawer.

    Scroll down and find the storage option which you will generally find at the bottom section. You simply need to tap the storage option at that section.

  5. Scroll down to the Storage, SD card:

    Depending on the mobile, you will find out different options available there. Mostly you see storage select it then select SD card. So there are two possibilities, either you will find the option beneath your “SD Card” option such as “ Erase SD card”, “ Format SD Card” or you need to tap the name of the card and then tap the: at the top right corner of the screen.   6. Tap Format SD card or erase SD card:

    If you are using a marshmallow, choose “portable” to the use the card in other device and “internal” to act it like an internal hard drive. All data will be erased after that.
